this one will be a typical smack family quilt w/a lot of fun details. i want board names on this one. doing a scrapbook page for each square you do is mandatory. jess's quilt scrapbook went over so well, we're going to make it a permanent fixture w/quilts. this one is for a baby girl but we don't want it too babyish so she can grow into it. inspirational quotes are always great. be cautious w/choking hazards on your squares. take a look at the thread for nianni's quilt to get a good idea of a smack family baby quilt. i'd like for teach to do our little smacker bear on a square. i think that'll be a permanent fixture on our baby quilts!

time to get started on this one. post now if you want in. the cost will be $10.00 per square mailed to toni w/your completed square. scrapbook pages are required for each square. if you choose to have someone else print it for you (either me or lisa), there will be a small charge to cover ink and paper - this excludes tam as she lives too far away and the cost would prohibit her from participating. (we got you covered baby girl!) squares will be mailed to toni. scrapbook pages will be mailed to me and must be printed on glossy photo paper. git 'er dun.

now we're getting somewhere!!! toni - we're doing a regular quilt so we're going to pass on the guitar idea. it was a cool idea but this is just for baby girl. (i know her name but don't remember how to spell it!!) also, we like to do full size quilts that the kids can grow into rather than a baby sized quilt that will be packed away when they outgrow it. you up for it girly??? teach - of course you'll get to do your own square. the bear square is a smack family square so that doesn't count as your square(s).

Okee-dokee! You know I'm up for it! What is the time frame for it? I have 2 I need to get done by Christmas. I figured if I sent the blocks out soon, we wouldn't need them done till after the first of the year. Whatcha think? That way, noone needs to rush, including me! LOL As far as everyone needing to do 2 blocks, can we wait for everyone to sign up, and then decide? If it's the same amount of people as with Jess', tghen 2 would be great, but not necessary. Any more people than that, 1 would work, and if they could definately do 2, that's fine too. Make sense?
