For our March project for our soldier I would like to send pictures of "home". Send in pictures of your hometown or other areas you have been that you think Mike would enjoy. For example, we have a historic courthouse here and I will be sending pics of that. Pics of scenery such as sunsets, trees, lakes, fields, oceans ect.....anything that he can look at and if only for a moment and if only in his mind "come back home." Please send only pics that you or someone you know has taken. I am going to have these printed up at my local drugstore on 4x6 quality paper, and I don't want to get hit with any copywrite issues. Include with your picture a description that you would like to include with your photos - where it was taken, what was going on at the time, things like that.
Please email these to AddyRN07@gmail.com. This email account can handle the picture load and no-one should get mail bounced back. If you don't have a digital camera or a scanner and want to send pics via snail mail you can do that too......PM me for my address.
These pics will need to be into me by February 25th, so I can send them out in the March 1st care package. I am doing a "home" theme for this package and any ideas for items to put in it will be appreciated. Examples - "Nothing says America like baseball and Apple Pie" ~ I will put in some baseball items (cards or summin) and some apple pie snack cakes. Let me know if you have any questions.

YES!!!!!!!! Count me in, Addy! I don't know if you've seen any of my pics in the photo thread, but I have lots of them of the sunset and other cool things, even some of St. Augustine, I'll have to get them printed up at wally world or somewhere, but I'd be happy to send them to you for him. Or would it be ok, if I just printed them out on my computer (since I already have most of them loaded in there? Let me know how you would prefer them to be done.

No particular state is needed. Just anywhere or anything that you think is beautiful or calming. Include a note with the pic of where it is and a maybe some well wishes for Mike. You don't have to include any writing, but you can if ya want to.

No particular state.....and as many as you would like to send. I am hoping to get quite a few of them so I will have a great varity.
