i know several of you make jewelry here and i'd love to see your work and learn what type of jewelry you're most interested in making. i've bought several books about beading but don't know when i'll ever find the time to pick up a hobby.

here are some of the necklaces i have made.

i use chipped stones like hematite,turq.,coral (syn),lapis,tigerseye,unakite,amyt.,garnet,and etc.i also like putting pendents,bones,and what ever else i can find or if someone wants it with something they bring me.i have sold a few and i have a shop whose going to take some on consignment.


Kat,if you want i'll bring some of the ons i've already made to show you and i can give you pointers on it as well.

Kim, those are great necklaces. I could be mistaken, but I think I have seen pictures of your work in other threads. Just wondering, approximately how long does it take you to make the necklaces.

Lisa,it takes me about 30 to 45 mintues to put one together.in 1 day i made 6 of them.

i started making jewerly back when i was 6 yrs.old.i made alot of hippie bead jewerly.lol

I made a necklace tonight. Took me forever to figure out exactly how I wanted it to be and what beads I was going to use. Aftere all that it only took me about 1/2 an hour to put it together. What really sucks is this...... I was being bugged constantly by my sons while I was working on the last half of the necklace and I forgot to put a very important bead in it. Soooooo, tomorrow I have to take it apart and restring the whole dayum thing!!!

I have some pics of a few things I've made and I'll take pics of the others I have. I'll post them tomorrow.

I forgot to take pics of the braclets I already had made, but here's some pics of the necklaces and one braclet I made today.

i can't wait until i can have the time to make jewelry. i love the jewelry in sundance catalog but it's waaaaaaayyy outta my league so i intend to make my own.
