I would like to send Mike (our soldier) some valentines cards. Nothing expensive, those of you who have children and get valentines for school, just slip one out and sign it (board name)and mail it to me and I will ship them all out. I will need them to me by February 1st so they will get to him in time.
Anyone up for it?
PM me for my mailing address if you are willing to participate in Mike's valentine day project.
You got it. I'm going to ask some people at work to have their little ones sign a valentine for Mike. I'm not sure if anything will come of it, but I think it would be cute to have Valentine's sent from all the little ones too!!

Hey Addy just an idea, why is all this stuff going to Mike? We adopted Mike and are sending him care packages, so why can't we do the Valentine thing for another soldier? Just an idea to give more soldiers an oppertunity to get things.

I only have an address for Mike. We could ask him to pass them out to his troop for us or something like that to involve more soldiers. I am hoping that our correspondence with Mike will lead us to others that need cards, letter, ect.....
What are you thoughts on this? Give me a better idea of what your thinking? But, yeah IF we can include more soldiers I think that would be great.
*WOW* That is all I can say....well, that and THANK YOU! I have been getting a great response to the Valentine's Day project. You all are really great people for helping make our soldier feel the love he has here at home. I couldn't do all this without you guys.

I sent an email to a few people and have already gotten responses. i will be providing them with Valentine's so they are not putting money out of their pockets. One woman I emailed happens to be a Brownie Troop leader, so she said she would enlist her girls to write Valentine's!!! YEAH!!!!
