I will be posting what is in the care packages for our soldier here in this thread, that way they will all be in one place. I will post a pic of the package contents each month around the 1st and 15th so you all can see what is being sent. Suggestions are always welcome!

I included a simple survey of needed/wanted items in the first package I sent out. I am hoping we hear back from him with things such as sock sizes, favorite snacks, and such. I know socks are a much needed item, but I don't know what size to get or color. I think they have to be black, but I'm not sure. Hopefully, we will hear back soon.

Cool, thanks Addy. You're sooo sweet! Have you heard anything from Mike at all? Do we know anything about him like where he's from or what sports he likes?

No I haven't heard anything as of yet. It may not have been enough time for him to respond back or he may be so busy with his mission that he hasn't had a chance. I hope we do hear from him though, it sure would make shopping a lot easier if I knew what kind of things he liked.

I will definately let you all know once I do hear from him.....if I hear from him.

I have a couple of American flag towels being shipped directly to you, Addy. They are coming USPS priority, and I hope they get to you by Friday. If not, I guess they will have to go in the next package. I can be such a procrastinator sometimes!!

Question- Do we know what branch of the military Mike is in? I found a good deal on some US Marine beach towels for only $4.99 each! Wow!!
