Wooott!!! Just heard Shannon on the radio....along w/ a short hello from Tony and Robbie too. The guys sound so great and pumped and happy.
The guyz are in Godsmack land as Shannon said..lolol. I will try and summarize here everything Shannon said. They are writing songs right now. After that Sully will put the lyrics to the songs. They have written a song a day for the last six days and it is heavy, heavy shiat... "the juices are flowin"
Yesterday, Shannon came up with a killer drum beat and Sully loved it. Tony and Robbie comin up w/ riffs. They are definitely in work mode. I think the break did the guys good. You can just hear it in their voices that "magic" is goin on!!!!
The band will be making an announcement on March 16th for some summer tour plans. They want to work on the record for awhile, then take a little break and do some shows, then back to finish up the new record.
I'm sooo happy right now!!!! Thanks Shannon for updating us Smackers!!! We're goin into withdrawals ova here!! lolol.

Sully, Shannon, Tony and Robbie....whatever you guys are working on I will greatly appreciate it and I know it's gonna be killer stuff! We all have been waiting for the next installment of Godsmack since IV came out, and I'm very sure that it's gonna be worth the wait. Cause Godsmack is what makes us, and it's what makes Godsmack as well. (I hope that came out right haha)

Don't be too hard on your DJ's Marley..lolol. Shannon talks on the air waves here because this is his hometown. And, I just have to say again Thank You Shannon. Never change bro. Whenever I hear him on the radio, he is so down to earth and such a wonderful soul. You could hear it in his voice the excitment of GS creating again. When Tony and Robbie joined in..in that thick Boston accent...I just melted.
This next album...I just know it. All us diehard GS fans...we are going to get something real special.

I know right? I'm getting goosebumps just thinking about it. Especially that moment when you put the album in your cd player and you hear the intro of their first song for the very first time....ahhhhh I love that feeling!!!

Bad Ass...YES. Tony, Robbie, Shannon... they ALL sounded so pumped. I can't help but giggle. I got the feeling that after a long break, the guyz came together and everything just "clicked".
The boyz are gonna smack us hard!!

March 16th, huh? You know Motley Crue is announcing the line-up for CrueFest2 on March 16th...for me, that's some serious wishful thinking...don't think my heart could take Smack and Crue in the same night.

Now that would be an awesome show, but I somehow doubt I could get the other half to do it! Something about seeing Crue twice already on this tour!
Might just have to go all by myself if they do such a thing and come back to this area. Although, they've (Cruefest) was in my area once! Wonder if they would come back through?
