While I agree with many of the Hegelian tenants that outline the scientific method espoused by Marx, I find it a little too extreme in application. That is to say, it focuses way too much on the ubiquitous nature of antagonistic contradictions within a concept or an idea to make it a legitimate force in creating a utopian or egalitarian society: it eliminates any visible form of progress through a process of negation that stretches to ad infinitum.
