My daughter needs some advice and I was wondering if you all have any suggestions I would sure appreciate it.

My daughter's boyfriend has a friend (who is female) and they have been friends for a while. She says she is a "wiccan".

Well my daughter's friend Fran is going out with this girl's exboyfriend and the girl is very upset about it. The girl is claiming she is putting "death spells" to Fran. Now of coarse, this is against the first rule of Wicca. I understand that. But none the less, its scaring the daylights out of my daughter and her friend.

Not only that, but my daughter thinks this girl is now jealous of her and her boyfriend. She hasn't discussed this with her boyfriend yet, shes not sure what she should do.

Do you think they should be worried about her or take her serious? I really don't know what to suggest to her. Any advice is surely appreciated, Thanks.

first tell the girls mother for it isnt your daughters, her boyfriends nor your job to take care of peoples mental issues.

second i would like to say sorry that girl causes trouble

also i highly doubt the gods( i say as i am pagan) will even listen to that girls request, for it is with ill will. also to gain assurance use prayer(or a protection spell if it is in your belief to do so)

i wish that all turns out well, and that girl that threatens your daughter gets the mental help she needs

Protection spells, or enchanting soemthing that they feel is protecting, or comforing and keep it around them. If none of them believe in such things though I would just say stay away from this person. Most people in my exsperence who tries these sort of tings do not know what they are doing. They simply do not habor enough dark will within them to truely have the act done., most of the time the spell will back fire, or have bad side effects, karma, or harvest all set aside.

If you are christian, and if they are Christian I would suggest using bible verses that make them feel safe, and powerful to ease their fears. Keeping a bible near by might do the trick. I'm not Christian, but I'm justr going by what i see, and know.

Nay most of the Gods would not allow this sort of thing to happen. However you never know. I'm one to believe in blanace, and duality so you never know what negitive spirit could be doing, or aiding out there.

On a brighter note though I have a strong feeling that all will be well.

You laugh at me because you fear what I am. You see that I am a link between the old and new, carrying the spirit of inspiration with me. That's okay though because I don't resent you. I wil always embrace you as family no matter what scorn I might recieve for I am the Bard.

Thats what I was thinking. It irritates me that people try to use religion in such a vengeful way. I don't have any experience with these types of things. I myself am Christian, but I respect all religions and while I don't cast spells, that doesn't mean I don't believe it could be.

Thank you.

Thats good advice about the bible verse. I think that will help her. And I believe in Karma also, hopefully thats the case.

Thank you.

If it is possible your daughter's boyfriend could point his friend to the correct information as to how Wiccans do conduct themselves and their beliefs.

Good luck. I hope your daughter begins to feel safe.

That girl needs serious help, so I would talk to her parents. What she calls herself does not matter, most likely she brought Wicca into it to add seriousness to her claims. But running around with this is harmful for her (it's self-destructive), just like it's harmful for others. I do not mean that she is capable of making such spells work, but she causes stress to Fran and your daughter which is bad enough. And the boyfriend should know what's going on too if he does not already. Depending on their beliefs, whatever brings the sense of protection should work. Make sure it's not a one-time effort too. If they are scared already, it will take time to gain peace of mind again, so reading the verses, meditating, or whatever else should be consistent.

Shes feeling better thanks. I knew you all on the board would help me out. She did talk to her boyfriend and he is going to talk to her. The funny thing is this girl doesn't know my daughter and Fran are friends. So hopefully it works out.

Her boyfriend isn't Wiccan, but he is going to try to calm the girl down so we'll see.

None the less, she feels better and appreciates all of your advice. Thank you.

My daughter told me about her a few months ago and said she is Wiccan. I think some how she became acquainted with spells and therefore is using it in this manner. I don't know her parents at all, but I'd like to think that this is not how they want to represent their beliefs. But dang, with people these days, you never know. Who knows, she could just be saying these things to scare Fran. But then again, she may be serious. Wow, things have changed since we were kids haven't they? My daughter asked me to post this. And I have relayed everyone's advice. She feels better now. I suggested she tell Fran to confide in her grandmother (who is from Jamaica and has knowledge about numerous religions).

I think the scary thing about spells for them is fear of the unknown. What's cool is both my daughter and Fran knew that this is against Wiccan's beliefs. Hopefully this will blow over soon. In the meantime, thanks for the advice guys.

If the girl is serious and starts off bragging about it, she will catch hell herself, by pure disrespect to the craft. Same as slicing yourself with a knife if you are not careful. Glad your daughter feels better and hope it will wind down soon so Fran can relax too.

jamaican wicca? i must agree some wiccans may live there, i think she is referring to hollywood voodoo, but voodoo isnt all hollywood cracks it up to be. voodoo was only made to look evil by early knowledge of it because:
1) the slavery approved old USA was racisist, being predominately christian, voodoo is a west african paganism
2)they did and in west africa still perform animal sacrifice

grant it there is good spirits and evil ones, but schizophrenia doesnt count as voodoo either nor does blockbuster

What I meant was, Fran's grandmother has knowledge of many religions. She is not Wiccan. Nor does she practice Voodoo. But I think her knowledge will make Fran feel better as she understands what is a part of different religions, and what is not. Her grandmother has studied many religions and actually incorporates views of a few of them into her beliefs. I see where you are coming from though.

I'm glad things are looking up for your daughter.

In the meantime, I'm sure she's feeling a lot of negativity from this girl. Might I suggest Black Tourmaline and Jet? Jet bolsters courage, and Black Tourmaline deflects negativity instead of absorbing it.

Hope that helps!!!
