Hey, I don't mean to bother anyone, but I'm wondering if anyone in here is an artist. in here. I am a bard of Druidism, and I am planning on getting my first tattoo soon. I want to get the symbol used by bards on my shoulder, but I want it to be a little creative.

Any of you who can create visual works of art, and are up to helping me I would like the following. A circle made of two lines. One line is silver while the other is gold making a spirial out of the circle. In the circle I want a square that is tilted so the four points are facing north, east, south, and west. I want the side that connects north to east green, east to south yellow, south to west red, and west to north blue. And if it is possible I would like a triqetra placed in the center of the square.

If you can do than please work on it. If you can't than I understand and thank you either way.

Robert, I may be able to help you with this. I don't know if you knew or not, but I am an artist of sorts and I can draw just about anything. What you want seems easy enough. The only question I have is about how you want the circle. You said you want two lines to make up the circle, one silver and one gold. Also that it would make a spiral out of the circle. Ok, the question is: DO you want a double spiral using the two colors or do you just want two circles, one inside the other? Let me know and I'll get started on the design this wekend. Oh! A few more things........ How big do you want the overall design and also what width do you want the lines of the circle and square? Also, what color do you want the lines of the triquetra? Do you want them the same colors as the square but kind of mingled together?

Please let me know as soon as possible and I'll get it drawn this wekend and get back to you with it.

A double spirial would be arse kicking. As for width, and length I'm not sure. I can't really perceive those things...its part of my eye disease that I don't understand things like depth, and what not. I say It doesn't really matter since I won't really be able to see it...large enough to go onto a shoulder and be noticable. As for the color of the trquetra I would like that color to be blue but dark at the centers and get lighter as the trqetra goes outward. If that is too hard than I understand. Sorry I can't be much help lol.

That was a lot of help, Robert. I'll see what I can do. One other question, is the tattoo going to go on your shoulder blade or on the top part of your arm?

Thanks, Kris. A hand-drawn version could actually look better, more natural (mine is mostly digital and hence uber-regular). And I am not sure if the circle is what RTB really meant.

I think it looks awesome, Yelena, digital or not. I don't think I could have done any better by hand. Besides, when doing a drawing for a tattoo, ya gotta have clear edges and such, and yours does. I'm not too sure if the circle is what Robert wanted either, but that was the impression I got from what all he had said. Unfortunately, I don't think he's going to be able to get back on the boards for a few weeks cuz he's been moving from place to place. But, he will be back and I'm sure he'll love your picture!

I had a friend describe to me what it looks like, and I think it is perfect. From what my friend says (and she is a really good describer) that the picture is exactly what I wnted, and needed so I thank all of you for both doing the picture, and those who at least wanted, and tried to help.

I don't mean to bother you, but if it is no problem could I have you to make two more different tattoo designs for me? If so than read the following. If not than thank you either way.

The first one I want is going to go on my right arm just above the wrist on the front. I want it to be the Godsmack sun sign in sun like colors with a waking crescent moon covering half of it. except for the rays and in the middle I would something that has to do with the blackthorn tree since I am connected to it.

The third one might be a wee bit hard. It is going to go on the back of my neck and I want it to either be a bear claw mark on the left, and a wolf claw mark, or paw shape on the right, or somehow them interconnected. You see the bear is my spirit animal while the wolf is my soul mate's, and I want something that honors them, and our union.

No bother, I actually enjoy playin in my Illustrator, especially since I don't get to use it for work recently.

On the first tatoo. I would make a small branch to represent the blackthorn tree, a whole thing would need more space than what's available on an arm. So what do you want there - flowers, berries, just leaves?

On the second one. Are you sure you want the bear claw mark without a paw shape? I doubt just the mark will look good, and I am not sure if wolves do claw marks at all, so maybe going with bear and wolf paw shapes united with a double spiral would be a better idea.

Thats acutally what I meant to write, but when I wrote it I was pressed for time, and did not possess a screen reader to assist me with the post....Aye I like the branch idea for the first tattoo. A branch would be cool, and maybe a flower would work too.

As for the second I meant paw marks, and that would be awesome with a spiral to unify them. That would be perfect.
