I bring you all the great news that all your thoughts and prayers for my friend were answered in a positve way-Sam(my friend) called me and told me that his assignment had been changed and he is being sent to Germany instead of Iraq!! I am so happy-even though he will be gone for a longer time (for sure 1 year and probably 2) but at least it is not in the Gulf.So I wanted to give a huge shout out to all of you who offerred your kind words,thoughts and prayers for my friend as well as for me-knowing how hard it is on me missing him like that and worrying about him so much.Thank you all so much-Please keep him in you kind thoughts and prayers though as the US soldiers are a huge target in Germany(I have heard).And for me too as I will have a hard time without him for so long.Thanks again my Godsmack family....you rock!!!!

Thank you all so much and that is good to know about Germany.I was there when I was 13 yrs old( with the Girl Scouts-believe it or not).It is absolutely beautiful.But so much I am sure has changed as that was quite a while ago.But I am thinking positive thoughts as this is one of the biggest blessings I could ever have prayed for and experienced in my life.He will be fine I am sure and will probably love it there.
