what better gift is there, than the gift from the heart.

telling or showing someone how much you appreciate them and whatever part they play in your life.

if you love someone, tell them.... no matter who they are, if you feel love in your heart just because they are near, tell them.

instead of pointing out someone's faults, try to show them you respect them and view them as equal. if you stand on a pedestal and point your finger at another's ways.... you are saying you are better than them. treat them how you would want to be treated, not by the illusions of your domestication.

showing someone there is light within the darkness, is the greatest gift of all. helping someone by giving your kind words from the heart, your time or resources of any kind is a wonderful gift. you can make that gift the grandest of all by showing them they are their source for their needs and wants... they are their light in the darkness.

Thank you very much. I will, I will & I was so sick of store bought gifts too. I wish we could all just skip that for a year & remember what christmas is really about. & we may find that sully was right. love is immortal.

Every few years I ask that my gifts go to the needy. One year I asked everyone for my gift to donate money and I bought a gift certificate so that a student I interpreted for could get some new clothes. Evey time she wore something she bought with the gift certificate she would always very excitedly tell me.

This year we are having a very small Christmas. I am giving baked goods as gifts. The middle school that I work at we have chosen 2 girls that we bought gifts for. It just feels better.

Thanks for posting that for us. I think that this is important, especially around this time of year.
