Hey, guys. I just got a phone call from my mom. My grandpa has had a major stroke. They are in Alabama, and I am in Indiana. I have no way of getting down there. But, I know the power of prayers, thoughts, vibes, et. al. works. So, if you don't mind, could you spare a quick moment to do whatever you choose, and give them a quick thought?

Just a quick note. Mom called about 8 last night. The ER docs gave her some false info. Grandpa did not have a major stroke. He had low blood sugar, it was below 40. That caused a seizure, as well as major disorientation, he thought mom was grandma who has been dead for over 2 years. The seizure triggered a minor stroke. They sent him home since his sugar was normal and everything was stable. Mom was mad, she thought they should have at least kept him over night. She told the doc that if anything happened to him, she would own the hospital.
Thanks for everything, guys. I just don't know what I would have done without all the prayers, thoughts, and all.

wonderful news! Your grandpa will be just fine-- needs to be sure and eat at the proper times tho, to keep the blood glucose levels where they need to be.
Still sending healing vibes~~~~~

That's the weird thing. He is hypoglycemic, and knows it. He makes sure he eats 6 small meals, and even makes sure to eat something before bed so this doesn't happen. I think the stroke came first, and caused the sugar to drop, and that caused the seizure. I'm not a doctor, that just my humble opinion.
