Okay I've read around and talked to a couple of people. But, what I want to know is, what the Wicca religion is all about. Don't get me wrong, I know the basics but I wanna know your veiws.
I was raised Christian and have been bitten by almost every single one of our so called "pastors". I'm not really sure what I believe in any more but I have talked to a couple of wiccans and for some reason it comes back to how horrible "WE" christians are. I am not looking for an attack, just some enlightenment from real people.

for me personally..I was raised Christian, and I have no problem with Christians at all, I respect them completely as long as they respect me as well. I find Wicca more appealing to me because, it just makes more sense. I never could buy into the whole *fear* thing in Christianity. To me, Christianity is based on fear, and I find a lot of Christians only believe in it because of fear...they wont get into heaven, or god wont like them as much, or whatever the case is. In the wiccan religion, we are responisible for everything we do, hence the 3 fold law. Whatever we do comes back to us 3 times as much. It encourages us to be morally good people and harm no one. I have yet to hear of a Religious based war caused by wiccans. Mainly cause we stick to ourselves and believe in not harming others and respecting their beliefs and wishes. As a matter of fact, there are some people who blend their Christian and Wiccan beliefs..I started a topic about that somewhere here..if you browse around..you'll find it..anyways I could go on for hours..thats my general opinion anyways..feel free to PM me..*or anyone else around here* Id be glad to share my feelings or *testimonial*..lol ...Good luck with your search and Blessed be!

As for my opinions, I have nothing against Christianity or (most) Christians. I say most because of the minority of them who try shoving everything they believe down your throat. I was also raised Christian, but I felt that the whole fear thing is ridiculus and confusing, like Silver_Moon said. I'm not Wiccan, because I don't follow the Rede and think that every action has a opposite and equal reaction rather than the threefold law. PM me if you have questions.

I can say I have no problem with Christianity, or any other faith. I don't make generalizations on people based on their faith. I do however have a problem with people who adamantly refuse to believe that I am entitled to my own beliefs, whether or not they mirror anyone elses.

My only problems I have are with individual people, not their chosen faith.
