Moon Baby touches me the most because i was dating my high school sweet heart. We dated for 5 years and we where going to get married. Then I found out that she was cheated on me on our 3rd year of dating. That when I took uo alot of drugs and was deeply dpressed and suicidal.

Each GodSmack song seems to Identify with different people and things..EX.. 'Awake' for Ex Husband, 'Sick Of Life' When Life is just to much, 'I Stand Alone' People Look at Ye funny when they find out You are Wiccan {I Love the ? 'Are You Gonna Burst Me Into Flames?'}, 'Keep Away' For all the A**Holes who irritate me {It's My Ringtone} The List of what each song does Goes On & On, "Voices" is a Huge Fav...I can't WAIT for IV too come out !

I have to ditto on the Keep Away. But the one that gets me the most, and is my favorite to play on guitar to this day is Stress, I ****in LOVE that song...ooh, I should put together a Godsmack disc for work...

I think if I had to pick a different favorite, like lets say they never wrote Stress...damn, I'd be hard pressed for that

Forgive me seems to reach in and grab my very sould, but Releasing the Demons I relate to insanely. Also I Am.
Where I love and relate to all of their songs in different ways, those three are the most touching. Wait. Asleep, too.

My girlfriend almost broke up with me a few days ago, we still love eachother deeply, after working out our differences we are still together. While this was going on i listened to the song Hollow over and over again, theres something about it that just calms me down. Whenever im upset at my girlfriends house she immediatly puts on hollow and i calm down almost instantly, its just something about the lyrics and sully voice.

I love you Amanda

It changes alot for me but at this time in my life, Spiral & Serenity. My Mom just passed from this world 2 weeks ago on Tuesday & I'm having a damn painful time , she was my Mom & my dearest friend. I may be 35 years old but I feel like a Motherless child, there are no words on how I feel but those 2 songs mean alot right now. It's nice to have something to look forward to and at this time I'm looking forword to the new album.

WitchOfEndor, it is hard when they just pass. As I tell my friends who have just now experienced death, the pain will never fade. Always remember the songs that bring you that pain, it will remind you forever of your love for her. Some say pain is bad, but that pain is what reminds you of the bond between you two. Yes, I do speak from previous experience. It's been 5 1/2 years since my father passed, and I keep it as fresh as the moment the last breath left his body. Love and strength to you, dearheart.

And I have to agree with Time Bomb. Yep, I am a walking talking time bomb. Unfortunately my clock is broken so I never know when I'll explode.

May the holidays roll over and die, I will now eternally be a bah humbug! No Christmas, no Thanksgiving, no Halloween, no Easter, may the holidays end forever!

Listen to the song of the siren!

Free will to do what I want
I don't remember wanting this
Pain pills, I take what I want
Who cares I no longer believe
Still crying denying
This muthaf*cka's controlling
Still trying still searching
For meaning impossible to find - Why? - Razed in Black

Hakuna, thank you for the kind words & I agree with you about the pain. At this moment, if I did'nt have the feeling of heartache over my dear Mama, I think I would just totally shut down & shut off. I'd rather hurt than be comatose. Blessings to you for your kindness & honesty.

To keep in line with the topic, I'm loving Hollow & can relate to it. Just wish I was the one singing it with Sully. LOL

I would have to say every CD has touched me in one way or another. The first time I heard Godsmack was six years ago when my mom had died, I was hurt, angry and sad at any given moment feelings that haven't gone away everytime they put out a new CD there is always something on it I can relate to. Its like that damn Sully is in my head stealing my thoughts and making money off of them.. Dammit! I want my royalties Smiler I get chills when I listen to Hollow the lyrics in that song just speak to me in ways I can't describe.
