I define a person based on their intelligence. A person's ability to use spelling and grammar correctly is a good indicator of a person's intelligence, especially when it's all you have to go on. Since I can't actually SEE your overflowing drool cup, I have to make the educated guess that it exists based on what evidence I have. Don't take that as meaning that you haven't given plenty of evidence to support my theory.
