AT 9PM (EST) SUNDAY AUG 27, PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO EITHER LIGHT A CANDLE AND SEND POSITIVE ENERGIES OR SAY A PRAYER TO VISUALIZE THE HURRICANE STAYING IN THE GULF. THE MORE PARTICIPATION THE STRONGER THE ENERGIES WILL BE TO MAKE SUCH A CHANGE!
This just doesn't look good to me at all. After losing my hometown-- and most of my friends lost their homes, along with me, last year with Katrina.......... I have a very sick feeling in the pit of my stomach about Ernesto. The projected path looks to be the Florida Panhandle/Alabama/Mississippi coast. NOT GOOD at all!!!!
Altho I am no longer on the coast--- it was my home, my long-time friends are still there, still trying to recover from a year ago-- and my brother is still in law enforcement/rescue on the Florida panhandle coast.
This is a very emotionally draining time of the year for me....................
My prayer is that Ernesto will just disipate.

I think there is a lot of people on the boards who might be in it's path. I learned even tropical storms can be destructive. I hope for as little damage as possible, come what and where it may.

Yes, tropical storms can also be very destructive--- they carry lots and lots of rain which will cause major flooding, and this one has sustained 50mph winds with gusts up to 85mph. They spawn tornadoes also.
The latest at 5am eastern time today, shows Ernesto curving slightly more toward the East. If he will continue that eastern turn, maybe a little more & quicker, he could just blow on into the Atlantic and miss Florida. The extremely warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico will fuel him and he will strengthen, if he doesn't play out first!
