I working on joining these two groups and wanted to know if it's really a good group to join. If you don't know what they are WLPA stands for " witches' league for public awarness" and FOTE stands for Followship of the earth. They both fight for wiccan rights and pagans and so on. Don't take this as gospel BW, but I am thinking that WLPA disbanned a couple of years ago and joined forces with possibly Lady Liberty League (ran by Selena Fox). It may have been a different group that WPLA went with, but I seem to remember some blurbs about it a few years ago.

WPLA just got to be too much for Laurie in her advancing years. I'm pretty sure they joined together with some other Public Awareness-type group.

I know nothing about FOTE so can't comment there.

I suggest that if you are going to join with any group, that it be Lady Liberty League, as they are far more known and has a huge voice in world-wide issues.

I may not personally like everything about Selena Fox, however, I do know that she puts every ounce of energy and strength that she has into the projects concerning LLL and Circle Sanctuary. LLL is the fighting force for the headstone project for Wiccan symbols to be placed on veterans headstones.

Don't forget about the AREN (Alternative Religious Education Network). Which used to be WADL (Witches Anti Defamation League). I was a member a few years ago, (my membership lapsed due to time/money constraints from my accident.)

No, you aren't doing anything *bad* or *wrong* by joining with groups that are promoting light and love. We are never limited to just one group.

I am a supporter of many groups and always have been.
