I never did until recently. there's an amusement park in my neighborhood surrounded by woods and swamps in the back. something about that place just isn't right at all. whatever is wrong back there goes far beyond any malevolent spirit or negative energy i've ever expirienced in my life. i'm especially perceptive to things of that nature and i have been scared before, but never like this. the feeling it gives me is nothing but blind terror. several people have expirienced things back there and i have no explanation for it. the closest i have ever gotten to explaining it is how the little kids describe it: The devil's house. i can feel the negativity from that place seeping into everything surrounding it and honestly, it's scaring the sh!t out of me. i need some positive vibes here or advice or something because it gets worse every day. i'm always hearing about people going back there and never coming out agian. it's f*cked up.

interesting shizat..well why not just use that inspiration fer yer horror stories n what not?

maybe its not such a negative thing after all
could be the whole settin fer yer first story er whateva
and if ur truly experiencin those feelingss then put em in there, will make that story er novel er whateva feel that much stronga

i've thought about that. my only set back is that it would be too similar to Stephen king's IT. if i didn't know any better, i'd swear up and down that he was writing about that place when he came up with the barrens.

u could use a whole totally different charactor
maybe sure an amusement park setting
but u don't have to base it all of what is really happening
just take some key factors and turn it into something wicked wild unique freaky?

Hmmmm...yes and no? I believe in the devil - if'n you mean a "personification" of evil. Not that there is a real physical being called "Devil". Just like I don't exactly believe in "God" as a physical being, but more the personification of good. "God" is the good forces in the universe, embodied in the "persona" of a superior being.

I do believe in "evil spots" like you describe with that amusement park. Just keep yer arse away from it!

No, I do not believe in the devil. The devil, or "satan" is purely a Christian notion made up by human kings who did not believe that they made mistakes, so they came up with something or someone that made mistakes for them. I think what you have back there is a malicious spirit from someone who was either murdered and never avenged or someone who died a horrible death and in the afterlife they continue to torment the living to satisfy their own hunger for vengance.

I don't believe in the Christian concept of *The Devil*, per se, however, I do believe in evil incarnate, demons, negative spirits and other ugly entities that are devils...........
