It might be a little easier to help you if I knew what you wanted to learn, and what you had already read.

Vampiric Moth, happy to see you have found something and are studying as well. Offers of help are of course open to all, not just Akuma.

Blessings.

Does familiarizing yourself with different paths prevents one from doing just that, and if it does - how exactly?

I'm currently looking at the site that was posted. I've also been to witchvox before. Thanks for the help. I'm curious about all sorts of things, but the information I want is somewhat elusive... not only that, but I know that lots of stuff on the internet is not reliable and, for that reason, I would much rather ask those who have already been on the path because they have more experience. Sounds like there is a bit of a debate brewin', lol. Religion is so controversial, ain't it grand, lol. Thanks a lot everyone!

Blessed be.

I'm curious about healing energy and how it can be used. I also want to learn more about the God and Goddess... I'm not sure if I grasp the basics yet. I've been trying to make meditation a habit, but it is pretty hard. What is invoking the Goddess? Casting/closing the circle? There are so many questions I have... I'm trying to find people who are also into the faith.

If you'd like to speak with me directly about your questions, shoot me an email through my AllExperts.com profile. I'm happy to answer any and all questions I am able. Smiler

Although I will warn you, I'm not "Into" Wicca. Wicca is my religion, not my hobby. If you have questions, I'll provide answers, but I do this in hopes that it drives you to do study on your own.

Blessings.

Healing energy and uses is a really large generalization.

The concept of energy in general is a huge topic and requires a lot of personal perception and internal acceptance. You have to accept the energy that is in us all, in everything around us, and that flows to make and control everything in this universe. After accepting that you have to internally realize your own energy and understand its flow and how it works. After that, you have to learn how to perceive all the energy around you and classify it in some reasonably general sense (considering we can not humanly be able to identify every type of energy individually).

Once energy is identified and classified then you can learn how to start directing your own personal energy into energy around you in ways your control (let there be no doubt that your energy is ALWAYS affecting energy around you). This is also gives way to learning how to ground yourself so that you do not get burned out by over use or by someone around you leeching your energy. After learning how to affecting different energy in different ways you can then proceed to figure out how to heal or mend other energy with the direction and aid of your own.

This can either take a really long time, or just a long time. Depends on the person.

Wow... sounds like a lot of work. I'm willing to do it, though. I love learning. I've been trying to understand exactly who the God and Goddess are... I don't even know what questions to ask. I've read a few things on the internet, but I'm not sure if it is reliable or not. So... perhaps a bit of basic information can help? I know that the names of the God and Goddess differ from what path you take. For that reason, I have not really reffered to them with names. I was told not to worry too much about that, since I am beginning to explore this new path. I gotta get myself to the library... Thanks, again, to everyone.

Blessed Be.

Merry Meet to all! Its been a long while, hasn't it? I've been studying up on Wicca. The Magickaschool site is absolutely amazing! Its great for meeting people with a common interest in the Wicca/Pagan religion and learning about it. I am so thrilled! So happy! Yay. *does the Happy Dance* Lol. Yeah... Well, let me know how all of you are doing! I'd like to hear from all of you. I checked out some books at the public library. Wicca A Guide For The Solitary Practitioner by Scott Cunningham is awesome! I loved it. Talk to y'all later! Hope to hear from you guys soon!

Blessed Be.

Thank you very much! Merry Meet to all, once again. This thread hasn't been very active lately, unfortunately. I would really like it if all the people who were Wiccan/Pagan would contribute to it. It would be great. I think it would also benefit everyone. It is a good thing to socialize with eachother, exchange ideas and so on. It would really help us grow as individuals. So... anyone out there... Please contribute!

Blessed Be.

I like the way they are written for one. and the information is very useful in them, I am also a first degree cabot witch, so I am a little biased about them Smiler
she is a very powerful person and truly dedicated to the craft. there is no bull**** with her she tells you how it is. every time I talk to her I feel a little more empowered and feel better about myself.
