Wow. How Self Depricating. Is there something you'd like to talk about? I'm sure we'd all like to hear what you have to say, but don't assume we don't want to learn and understand what you have to say, as long as it's in a constructive way. Just assuming "we don't care to learn" isn't fair to us. Not everyone is out to degrade you or your faith. So why not take a step back, and introduce yourself.

It's the "or want to" part that throws me off. What happened to the part where you say, "Hi, my name is (fill in the blank) and I like Godsmack and want to talk to people." So leave the chip on your shoulder at the door, because we are all friendly people who want to get to know you, not your angry face. : )

hey eddie!! welcome to the smack family!! lemme get this straight before i proceed - i think what you meant was no one in your area wants to know about the old ways - NOT the people on this board. is that correct? and i understand that completely. i am part cherokee and part hopi and i'm ashamed to say i don't know much about either tribe. never got to spend enough time with my granny, who was half cherokee and half hopi, and the other side of the family seemed embarrassed by the indian blood running through their veins. i can somewhat understand as it was during a time it was best to keep quiet about being native american. they were treated badly yet have less of a voice in our country than any other group of people. but let's not go there cuz it pisses me off. as for the native american religious beliefs, i lean closer to those than any other belief system. it's something that comes naturally to me without studying it (as i should!). your thoughts and opinions on native american beliefs would be wonderful insight for all of us. i would love to see a resurrection of the old ways.
