Hi every one, I'am new here (I already introduced myself), any ways, I hope many people in this forum don't know the real islam and muslims (just what they see in the news about terrorrists...) any way, I think also that american muslims can not have some answer to some questions since they never lived in a muslim country and have some perturbated idea, that's why, i want to know if you have any questions or any think that you want to know, and I'll do my best to make it clear for you.

I'm not a Muslim I'm Pagan but I'm always interested in other religions. So what country do you live in? I have limited knowledge about Muslims. I read an autobiography about a woman born in Somalia that is Muslim and I did learn that not all Muslims are fanatical but I'd like to learn more from someone that is Muslim. Are you male or female? And how old are you? Do you believe that women are to serve the men any way they can and are not allowed to have any education? Do you think the physical mutulation most of the Muslim women receive is justified? Do you believe the women have to be covered from the top of their head to their toes and fingertips? Just curious.

The opening page of the Quran, the very first verse of the holy book emphasizes on education and knowledge. Muslims, whether male or female are OBLIGED to have education.

Well... Most muslim scholars do believe in this but some don't. As far as my knowledge goes... i dont believe in this. I read a verse in Quran that ordered the Wives of Prophet Muhammad to cover their faces so that the Arabs cannot identify them and tease them, which was very usual at that time. So IMO, i believe that muslim women should just wear proper clothes, such clothes that they dont expose their private parts. That's all.
And this stupid extremism that muslims are being labeled with these days, that's not part of Islam. Do you know the literal meaning of Islam? It means "Peace" Live peacefull, let live peacefully, and that is what islam is about.

No. I live in a muslim country. One that every non-muslim hates. But then again, i hate this country too.... it used to be good, but the true spirit of this country died with the founders of this nation. Im not saying the name.
