I don't know if I am going to be flamed by everyone for this topic, but oh well, I can take it.
I am a satanist. Actually, I am part of the MLO, or Misanthropic Luciferian Order. Its always interesting to hear what people have to say about my religion. Mainly because, unfortunately, most people know nothing about it. I have had people try to tell me what the people in my religion do, I have had a lady say I was not allowed in her house because I sacrifice animals. But if she hadn't jumped to conclusions, she would have known that I wouldn't harm an animal. I anted to start this discussion, so maybe I can clear up some things about my religion for anyone who is interested.

Don't think you will get flamed here, as we discussed Satanism before and it went reasonably smoothly. So, since this would be the first time I ever heard of Misanthropic Luciferian Order, what is it exactly and how do you put "misanthropic" and "order" in the same name?

I find Satanism quite interesting. It's annoying though how misinformed people are. I mentioned to one of my roomates a few weeks ago that I had read the Satanic Bible because they were jumping to conclusions about someone they had seen reading it. I simply said that it wasn't at all like what they thought and they shouldn't be so quick to judge people. But now there always an awkardness when we pass each other in the hall or the kitchen.
And since I tend to keep to myself I'm paranoid enough to think that they think I'm sacrifising smalls animals or something ridiculus. But whatever, people believe what they want and no matter how much you try to tell them it's not true, a lot of people wont listen. I'm just glad that most of my friends are open minded enough to let me explain things to them.

my opinion is if that person is christian they are hipocrite, moses and their prophets did animal sacrifice, not satanists. its like my mom was screaming at me calling me a satan worshipper, and us pagans dont believe in satan.
the only right religion is the one you yourself believe. satanism is to me more realistic than christianity anyway.
