I hate making a big deal about things..as I expected that when I came out as being a witch that people would be a little skeptical and questioning of me. But one girl is really pushing the envelope..I almost punched her today because of what she did. and i have never hit anyone in my life. This girl goes out of her way to tell me Im full of demons and Im going to go to hell and how evil I am, that I need to be saved.,.blah blah blah..the usual. However I work at my university and she does this crap while Im working..my boss told me to tell her Im busy and cant talk..but that doesnt seem to work..she just follows em around while Im working..I can be sitting in the lounge studying and she will sit down and just start rambling on..she was around me for a total of like 2 hours today trying to convert me..Its getting on my nerves..but back to the *almost punching her* part. I was at school today watching a movie with a friend for her nursing program. And I said something to my friend that I felt like I had a migraine coming on..and this girl just *happened to be there..how convenient*..and we couldnt leave because the video couldnt leave school campus and thats the only room with a tv to watch movie..well anyway.this girl asked me if I wanted her to pray for me...and just to get her to shut up..Im like yeah sure..go ahead..expecting her to bow her head or whatever..well she got up..walked over to me..and grabbed my head and squeezed it and started praying...I almost flipped out..I DONT like to be touched by people..she believes she has the healing power of god or somethign..but anyway...what the hell do I do about this ****? Its getting WAY too ridiculous..she crossed the line...any advice *besides punhing her the next time..lol*

p.s. she thinks my migraines are caused from evil demons and wants to perform an exorcism *sp?* on me..the girl is ****in nuts..seriosly..

If she is taking this so far as to harass you at work, I would consider legal action. Most universities of any size have a student legal services department (most of which handle mostly tenant/landlord issues, but they do other stuff too- my bro had a university attorney when he got a DUI), and I'd consult them. I'd just tell her in no uncertain terms that if she doesn't want charges pressed for harassment, she'd better leave you alone. It'd be one thing if she was hanging out near where you hang out to do this stuff, but if she's coming in to your WORK to do this- that's completely uncalled for, and I'm guessing an attorney and judge would see that as harassment too.

well I got a branch of my college so they dont have legal services here..just at the main branch..and I have no way up there..and she also works there..just not in my department. and Ive been told to file a complaint against her..but I hate causing problems..I just want her to leave me the hell alone..ya know. But even when its not at work..I think its still in appropriate..especially for he to just touch me liket hat without my permission.

Nikki, look at it this way: if you don't cause problems to her she will continue to be a problem to you. Try to talk to her first maybe, but from the sound of it I doubt she will listen. And if she won't, go ahead and press charges. You don't have to be a nice girl to a freak.

Hey Nikki,the best thing to do when someone like this girl that thinks that all "Witches" r evil which isn't true,is to give her phoof that ur not.I say don't stoop down to her level by letting her get the best of u,just walk off without saying a word.And if she follows go ahead and file charges against her. I really hope u know that no matter what any body says u r ur own person and not a evil doer just cuz u happen to be a witch .Witches r ppl too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you asked this person to leave you alone? If not, I'd suggest asking her gently to leave you alone. If she offers to pray for you again, tell her gently that you would appreciate her prayers but that you would prefer that she keep her hands to herself.

Also, it is unacceptable for someone to put their hands on you in the workplace without your express premission. This girl is going to get herself into a heap of trouble if she does not learn that ANY unwanted physical contact is considered sexual harassment, even if it is not an advance. She could lose her job in the future!!!

I'm sorry are going through this, hon. I will keep you in my thoughts, hoping and praying that you find a positive solution.

Nikki, if you don't file a complaint, not only will she get away with doing this to you, but ANY other Wiccan, Pagan or Witch, she comes across.

Plus, her puttig her hands on you AT ALL, even if it is your head, without EXPRESS permission, (assenting to a prayer, is not the same as giving her permission to touch your person in any manner.) is SEXUAL HARASSMENT.

just thought I would update and let everyone know I filed ac omplaint against her today. The guy I talked to told me to tell her one more time firmly but politely that I no longer wish to discuss religious matters with her. And if she doesnt listen then her and I, and this faculty member will sit down and have a conversation about it. And if it still doesnt stop, then they will take whatever matters they must to make sure it does stop...so lets hope it works..

The moment she laid a single finger on me, I would've gone to the police station and filed for an ex parte order. If someone were screaming at me that I was evil, putting my job in jeopardy and harassing me all over campus, that would tell me that at some point my safety would be in question and I should fear for it. Harassment and stalking and assault (which is what she did by laying a single finger on you) is illegal and requires legal action... which begins by filing police reports.

But yay for you for at least filing a complaint... at least you've got SOME kind of paper trail if something goes awry.

Actually, assault is the verbal action--- battery is when you are actually touched.

Yes, file charges-- even if with just the school security-- so you have that paper trail if you should need it.
