BB's new album titled "Dear Agony" will be hitting stores on September 29th. The first single from the album "I will not bow" will be hitting radio waves on August 17th.

God, I've missed them.

I know, it's about time we get some official dates on the new album. Can't believe it's been around 4 years since "Phobia" came out. I can't wait to hear it. This should hold me off for a bit till some new Godsmack/Sully arrives. But not much. haha

It's not bad, I like it but was expecting more I guess. I'll just let it grow on me for a while until the whole album comes out.

It's not what I was expecting either. DB said it was REALLY heavy, but...
I still like it though. And it's sooo good to hear Ben's scream/growl (or whatever you call it). lol

Yeah it started out like it was gonna be a really heavy song, then it just slowed down from there. But overall it's a good song, it's NEW! And it's good to hear Breaking Benjamin again. I'm definitely looking forward to the album.

I've been of fan of theirs since they first hit the scene. That bein said, I am not diggin' this album at all. I've listened to it twice now and it just seems boring to me. Maybe it will grow on me. There are a few good tracks, imo.

I know what you mean. At first I wasn't too fond of the album, I was hoping it was gonna be heavier. They has a few good semi-heavy songs in there but most of them are still kinda soft. Ben's lyrics/vocals have gotten really emotional on this album then the past ones imo. It has grown on me. My favorites of the album are...

Crawl
Give me A sign
Anthem of the Angels
Into the Nothing
Without You (top fav)

Overall it's a great album just not what I expected.

I like it, but like you said, it seems boring.
It's already growing on me though. I love BB, so whether I like it or not, I'm gonna love this album eventually.

so glad you are enjoying my hometown boys! yeah it's kinda soft. ben was going through alot with this record from my understanding. i havent gotten through the whole thing yet lol. hopefully i will today.

I've been a fan of BB since I seen them open for Godsmack back in 2006. After that concert I bought "Phobia" and fell in love with it. Then of course I went to get the other past albums. I think BB is one of those bands that I can love no matter what they put out. Kinda like how I am with Godsmack.

But Ben did spend more time with the vocals/lyrics this time around. It's emotionally powerful.

That's what I was trying to say in my last post.

Ben's lyrics are always powerful. And his voice is one of the most amazing I've heard in a long time. Makes me swoon.
