Anyone going to the Metallica show next month in Charlottesville, VA? I'm counting down the days...

I'm seeing them in 5 days in San Antonio, Tx..... Been a long time since I last saw them.. I love watching Lars go ballistic.

Did you get GA seats or assigned? I will be in GA and am going to try my best to get in front or very close to the stage. They let Metallica fan club members in to the venue 30 minutes before everyone else.

I got assigned seats, lower level. Section 4, I think.

Show was awesome. Played right at two hours (take note godsmack), great set list. Took tons of pics, will post tomorrow but gotta get up in 6 hours to head to the Redskins game.

Nice Set list! There are a few I would rather replace but overall that's a nice set. Either way though I bet it kicked ass!

*waiting for the pic* Set list looks great. My wait is getting shorter by the day, December is almost here I so want to hear Creeping Death live again, and all the new songs too!

I think I like your setlist better than the San Antonio show! I missed my favortites Fuel, Blackened and Fade to Black... and I don't know if they play For Whom the Bell Tolls anymore.... Still, Metallica put on a kick ass show! Can't wait for next time.

Those big light fixtures were in the shape of the coffin thats on the cover of Death Magnetic. They came down and moved around alot during.







I forget which song this was during but Lars was lookin over at some people on rail the whole time just about.





they dropped these black balloons from ceiling during Seek and Destroy. It was funny as hell.

Thats a few of them, probably the better ones. Photobucket is bein a pain right now.

Thanks for posting, backstabnsob; me and my friend got in one of your pics. We were able to get by the rail after waiting hours but it was well worth it and the show was awesome!!!!
