I don't know, I don't mind the new sound. The vocals are a bit lax compared to Layne, but dude has some bigass shoes to fill. Who is this guy, where have I seen him before?!
I'm happy to say, it's not the piece of **** I thought it'd be.
When I first heard that AIC were gonna keep the name and move on after Layne died I was up in arms about it. But after I heard them live with William Duvall that was quickly put to rest...the man can hold his own while at the same time not trying to imitate Layne. Layne was great and I miss him but sometimes he was given a little too much credit. Layne wrote some music but Jerry is the true brainchild behind AIC.
As far as this new song goes, I dig it but it is a bit too long.
Yeah, it does feel a bit too long, and I'm sorry, but there will always be comparisons to Layne, dude does have big shoes to fill, but I do like his voice, I'm not saying he is Layne, but he is doing a great job so far, I'm not completely disappointed unlike with some bands *coughdrowningpoolcough*

AIC could NEVER have been that big if it weren't for Jerry.
