What is Karma?

Karma is a point system that is designed to show how much positive effect you have on the Godsmack forum community! It is tied into your post count, however moderators can give or take karma based on how helpful you are on the forums.

Karma is not currently being used in any active way, however it could be used later down the line for special features open only to the members who contribute most positively on the boards.

What are avatars?
Avatars are the small 80x80 images that appear next to users' posts in the forums. (Not the images that appear below their posts - those are part of their signature.)

How do I upload my own avatar?
1. Go to My Space > Profile:

2. Click on View/Edit Complete Profile

3. Scroll down to where it says "Avatar / Picture URL" - and click on the "Edit" link there.

4. In the pop-up up avatar selection window, click on the link at the top that says "Custom Avatar".

5. Either paste in the url of your avatar, or browse your hard drive for the one you want to use.
