Which new site are you referring to? Godsmack.com? And where are you seeing that its afiliated with dating? Are you having some kind of firewall issue? A little more info would be great - thanks

sorry -
I am not having any trouble but SyntheticDarkness is, specifically. He was kicked out a couple/three weeks ago on this site and has not been able to get back in since. He gets the message: SmartFilter category Dating/Personals is filtered.

Is there anything that can be done? He's missing everyone. LOL.

I have that problem at work, Groupie is under the "dating/relationship" firewall. To my knowledge there is nothing Snipe can do, it would need to be done by the IT dept of his job.

yes, we understand that. However, the question begs to be asked:
Why is dating & personals attached to the website? It does not have to be set up that way.

OK... I will explain what I mean.
It is NOT godsmack.com that has the problems with being a dating/personal site, it is Groupee. A lot of forum sites are firewalled by workplaces because there employees are spending time chatting and not working.
For example. Where I work as Groupee, Myspace, facebook... to name a few, are all firewalled with the same message of it being a dating/relationship site. That is not what I use them for, but that is the category the company I work for has them under.
There is nothing Snipe can do if someones work place firewalls this site.
It sucks, I know because my time here is not as it once was.

Damn firewalls, someone needs to put them out.

I just realized how late it really is, been busy and occupied with experimenting with some new music software and stuff.

yea. I understood what you meant. But odd that it was not that way until the site went down a few weeks ago. That is why I was contacting Snipe for Steve since he is not able to get back on the site as he was before. Thanks for your input though.
