When you get an email telling you that you have a new topic posted in a private forum (i.e. private messaging) or in a thread you are subscribed to , PLEASE do not hit REPLY to respond to the message. Replies come to ME, which accomplishes three things:
1) Adding to my already substantial e-mail load, thus pissing me off
2) Providing me with comic relief because I get to read your private messages (and some of them have been real gems, let me tell you) if the reply was to a PM notification
3) Ensuring that your message NEVER gets read by the person it was intended for
If you want to reply to someone, you MUST go to the PM thread and reply if you ever want the intended recipient to see it.
Ah, hell...I have a feeling that the few PMs I have "replied" to never made it to the intended people. Color me clueless. If SID hadn't replied to this thread, I would have never noticed this. I think I need to back track and reply properly to some peeps!

i hope that i did it right through my PM...i replied on the actual PM but wasn't sure if the person would get it or not. if and when you get the pm and not the intended party, is it possible for you to send it to that person? i hate computers, i really do. anyway, the intended party was "IVXX" but i think i did it right even before reading this. it took him awhile to reply to the last one, and in turn, i think i took just as long in replying back to him. sorry for the grief if i caused any.
