Since the original post accidentally got pruned away, I figured I'd re-post the avatar guidelines for newcomers to the forums.

1. Avatars MUST NOT be WIDER than 100 pixels, or TALLER than 150 pixels. Avatars or sig images that stretch the page or post box may be resized or removed without additional notice.

If you have an image that you would like to use as an avatar or sig and you do not know how to resize it, the link below provides a free tool that will allow you to resize your images online without installing any software:
