Seven brides serve me seven sins Seven seas writhe for me From Orient gates to R'lyeh Abydos to Thessaly And Sirens sing from stern But now I cease to play For I yearn to return To woodland ferns Where Herne and his wild huntress lay ------------ Damon Salvatore: What's so special about this Bella girl? Edward's so wipped. Caroline Forbes: You have to read the first book first, otherwise it won't make sense. Damon Salvatore: Uh, I miss Anne Rice, she was so on it. Caroline Forbes: Hey, how come you don't sparkle? Damon Salvatore: Because I live in the real world where vampires burn in the sun. Caroline Forbes: Yeah, but you go in the sun. Damon Salvatore: I have a ring, it protects me. It's complicated." http://the-dark-gift.deviantart.com/ http://www.myspace.com/the_dark_giftxxx
Ladies and gentlmen, buy your guns soon, buy your ammo, and then hide them! No body is touching my babies (guns) and their toys (ammo).
We are all taught to fear death, yet death is not the taker of life, just the receiver. The ticking of the clock draws us near. Time is death, and it shall take.

I knew this was going to happen. Though I really was not sure if the guns or ammo were going to get hit first.
To anyone who responds to this thread saying it is fine and dandy, I challenge you as a person. I challenge you to get your head out of your ass and understand the implications of this.
We have a right to bear arms. This is not just a "good ol' boys" thing. This does not mean that we have the right to have gun to go out and pleasure hunt and kill people. (Though having guns does make ether possible.) This means that we have a right, as citizens, to show our government that we hold power. We hold arms, not just them. Bearing arms is a symbol of democratic protection and the only way that citizens can make sure that their government upholds its part of the social contract. Guns and ammo are our only protection against rampant rights abuse.
And no, protesting and talking to the government does not work without the power to back up what is said. If I am big government and I take the gun away from the little guy, then I tell the little guy to give me all his money or I am going to take it, the little guy can do nothing about it. Pleading will not help when the big guy wants to take the money. No there is no police or military to protect the little guy, because the big guy IS the police and military. The little guy is currently defenses, leavrageless, and ****ed.
Oh yeah this is a friggin mess for sure. I've bought some rounds for my guns I'm actually thinking of dropping a few of the larger calibers to go with a smaller plinking gun that the ammo is cheaper no matter what we say the goverment is full of scum bags and they will do what they want. our only hope is to keep the NRA strong to fight for our rights ! I'm a life member with the NRA .
here in CT they are attacking our gun club ranges trying to put goverment officals in charge of saftey at all ranges. if they tell you your unsafe for any reason your closed no repeals no nothing. then they are trying to say that at the outdoor range the noise cant exceed 60 decibels ! at a gun range ! I've already contacted my state rep and gave her my opinion we as gun owners need to ban together.
these as*holes need to focus on real trouble issues. like homeless people , education, etc etc etc not guns and ammo . what a total waste this country is turning into.

Yep, one person CAN make a difference. I hope all those that like guns are heard and this is all squashed. It is not a good thing for the government to be doing. Like someone else said, there are other more important things to worry about than guns and ammo.
I, however, will not be joining you all on trying to get this stopped. I agree that it should be stopped, but I just can't back it up. I guess having a loaded, sawed off, double-barrel shotgun to my head for about 12 hours kind of ruined any and all "like" of guns I ever could have had. But like I said, I hope this bill IS squashed.

I do not like guns. I do like protection from those with more power than us. I do not like killing and I do not like violence, but I am not against using it to solve problems (as it sometimes is the only way no matter what people say or think.)
