$110.00 per ticket? no way....my husband and I bust our asses, make good money,,not sweating the economy crap,,,but there's no way. I'm so upset right now that the presale half ass seats are $110. If it was front row, Godsmack only..I might do it.
I've seen alot of complaints all over the net about this combination concernt,,but I happen to like all, with Godsmack being my fav,,,but DAMN. I'm thinking of all the die hard middle class fans who work 60 hours a week,,,that could'nt even pay that for 2 tickets let alone 1.
Disappointed.................it is now to be determined if we even go. And that would have made show number 9 or 10 for us.
I agree..I was originally planning on catching a show but I can't justify it. My total came to $117 - 95 for the ticket, 6 for parking, and then 16 more for a "ticket fee"??? Isn't the TICKET the fee to get in?? I like Godsmack and all, but I will be skipping this tour and wait for a Godsmack headlining tour next yr I guess.

i agree, $110 bucks is ridiculous. i haven't missed a GS show in years. I was looking forward to seeing Motley Crue again. with all that is going on in the world, prices could have been cheaper. i know it takes allot to move a show of this size, but gimma a break.
well i have the same problem - for 2 pit tix for chicago face value is $190
plus theres all the taxes and inconvenience fees and $30 for premier parking (which i have to get because our jeep gets vandalised every time i have used main parking lot) which makes it almost $300 just to see godsmack (and drowning pool, i love them too) and like they said above, NO FRAKKING WAY!!!!!
i dont even WANT so see motley crue and would leave after godsmack anyway,,,,,
but i remember a couple of years ago, godsmack pulled out of a tour with Metallica with sully saying the tix were too expensive and he didnt want godsmack fans ripped off
so i challenge you to answer this sully - why $100 a ticket? now my husband and i cannot afford to go.... its not so bad for me, i have seen them a few times, but he hasnt ever seen them, and i recently got him to listen to them and he loves them and wants to see them, especially the drum battle.... i am SO pissed off at this greed,
SOMEONE TELL GODSMACK THERE IS A GLOBAL RECESSION ON AND WE CANT AFFORD THIS!!!!
ARE YOU F'N KIDDING?? This is Mr. Can't Afford $100 Tix. My wife just turned me on to you guys and I was greatly impressed. I have been asking her to keep an eye out for when you were touring and coming to town. And when you finally are ... WTF? I mean... Motley Crue??? Washed-up has-beens as far as I'm concerned. They were barely worth my time in the 80's. They have a lot of nerve charging those prices. They obviously don't give a crap about the economy since they are "wealthy", but their general fan base is NOT. That just shows their arrogance and greed. LOSERS! My wife told me that YOU Sully, said that you would never let your fans get ripped off. Well this is what's called getting ripped off. As a new fan I was really looking forward to seeing you. Being a drummer myself I was in awe watching the drum "battle" on your DVD. I got laid off in December (2 days before our wedding!) and have been having one m'fer of a time trying to find a decent job again. One of the things that's been helping keep my sanity and self respect has been being able to take my wife out to concerts, etc. She and I were both looking forward to seeing you this year, this made it impossible. How's this for an idea. Pull some dates outside of the tour (at an affordable price, like you said) for the fans who won't be able to make it to Crue's Greed Fest. That is unless the greedy little putz's made you sign an exclusivity contract. Help us out, and I mean ALL your fans. Back up your own words!
yeah, let's face it. the biggest reason any of us would entertain Cruefest was because of Godsmack. i saw motley 2 or 3 times way back and it was a cool show. Tommy's rotating drum solo was the pretty awesome. when i first heard that GS was rumored to be on this thing, i asked my girl if she was into seeing Motley. her reply was, "if i can see GS, then yeah. i don't see why we can't have "smackfest". $110 is ridiculous.
Chill can't afford. The smack boyz ARE gonna do a headliner. It is just a matter of time. CrueFest is just a warm up....keeping the name in the press. The best is yet to come

well, i could go that route and just say "kiss off" to the bill collectors. still say godsmack should have their own summer festival tour. i would like to see Theory of a deadman, Sevendust, godsmack, breaking Bejamin and feel free to through in a couple of more. "smackfest" "smackfest" "smackfest". i would pay to see GS headline with those supporting acts any day.
I think this is a total rip off. I would be willing to pay if it was Godsmack headling but I would guess that the set and stage will be stripped down as not to upstage the headlinner. Motley Crue ****ing sucks!!!!!!! Vince's voice sounds like ****!!!!!! I am going to hold out and hope that they play some shows on the off days like they use to do during Ozzfest.
i don't know what the hell ya'll are bitching about. you get to see FIVE bands for a benjamin. what's the problem? that's like a bonus. i think it's well worth it and i know all the bands are taking a financial hit to bring this show to you cuz it costs them big $$ to pull off a single show, nevermind a big show like this w/5 bands. most good bands put what little profit they make back into the show to appease you people yet it's never enough. goddamn if i'd want to be in the music business.
