Just wondering if anyone has been to a show that purchased ILAA and was able to meet the band? What were the pre-show/post show events and did you get to meet all of the members?

Yeah, it's pretty sweet. It starts out by all the people meeting at the gates early. They sign you in... and hook you up with your backstage laminate pass and they tell you to not take it off. You get a gift bag of goodies as well. Then, they take you to the merch booth so you can buy whatever you want. Usually by this time, you can maybe even hear or see a band doing soundcheck.

You are then taken backstage, and it's a little tent with colorful banners everywhere. Free drinks, free food. Godsmack blaring on the stereo. Everybody chillin. Then raffles are being thrown every which way. (raffle tickets are included in the bag of goodies)

Then the boys come out. They usually tell everyone to just line up, and they come around and sign just one thing. Then, deciding on the number you get, you then take a picture of you and other people with the band.

After that, your off to your seats...

Yep...well worth the money.


It was a little different in 06 when I went. We were told not to bring anything to sign but we were given an auto'd picture in our grab bag. This year you could bring something to sign...

Did you get to meet all the members? Did they chat for a bit? What seats did you get? Did you get to bring your own camera?

Im going to Sept 4 th show too e-mailed ILAA and said no cameras allowed ill be pissed if other people bring cameras

I just got my itinerary email today for PNC next week. One thing it said in the pages of the waiver , hopefully this is just to cover their ass:

<<Meet & Greet with photo op with Godsmack band members (band members may vary nightly) >>

I would be pissed if I didnt meet all members, I hope that never happens at any of the meet and greets.

Hope you get to see all of the Boys, but prepare yourself, because you might not. Look back through the pictures posted in the Gallery from previous shows...it does happen from time to time.

I did ILAA in 2006 and did get to meet everyone, but they (ILAA) were not allowing personal autographs. Some peeps asked the Boys anyway, but I didn't feel comfortable doing that...I know, I know, I'm a dumb ass!

Sneak it in...even if you can't take pics during the meet n greet, you'll want to try to get some during the show!
