there is no rumor or anything, i am just speculating. I remember last year they were saying that godsmack might be part of it. Well this year System of a down is no longer, so there is a void for the stop bill. Would anyone like Godsmack to headline ozzfest?

I wouldn't really "like" it but I wouldn't be surprised if they did this year.

As much as I don't like Sharron Ozzborne I will go to Ozzfest this year. With or without Godsmack. I didn't go last year even to support Disturbed but this year I will. There are a few people/bands that overwhelm personal opinions and politics.

I doubt that SOAD being on hiatus has much to do with the selection of bands for Ozzfest. Other than Sabbath I don't really think they would be having the same band headline two years in a row given the state of sales for concert tickets these days.

I say bring on the Ozzfest along with a dash of Sharon! I have yet to catch their show, this would be my opportunity to finally see 'em.

i have nothing against Ozzfest or Sharron, infact i love her and i think she kicks tail. And i love the whole Ozzfest thing too. We went this past year and it rocked. I would just rather see Godsmack do their own thing and have their own full set, BUT if they were to Headline Ozzfest, i'm pretty sure i'd be first in line lol.

Well Godsmack was at ozzfest 99. They are much bigger now and I think they could easily headline the tour. It was just a hunch I was going on. I know last year there were rumors that Godsmack would be on ozzfest, but it was avenged sevenfold. Just looking at the "major" bands who will be touring in 07, I think Godsmack would be the front runner, that just my guess.

YEA I don't see why not their a fantastic band and I know that Ozzfest would be so good with Godsmack there . I would wait in line for weeks even months to see them in concert weather they do Ozzfest or not !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GODSMACK RULES

There are 25 dates for Ozzfest this year. I think that's a pretty average number for the tour.

Yes, it is going to be free. I don't see how that's a bad thing. I thin it's a huge step in the right direction for Sharon.

well i know i said it didn't matter if Godsmack headline Ozzfest or not. i got to thinking about it more i would really like to see Godsmackfest instead.....but i will be going to OZZFEST TOOOO
