Draped in velvet shadows
Riding on silent wind
Never at peace with myself
Running from the madness I hear
Whispering soft secrets
Fear courses through my veins
The night is closing in
Neon lights can't dissapate it
Swirling in spirals twisting
Spawning grinning demons
Forked tongues a-twitchin'
between fangs of steel
Sulfur breath blasts forth
from abyssal maws
I stare with eyes filled with horror
as the darkness stares back at me
and laughs
"You can never escape me... Nothing harms me. But I know pain. I know pain. Sometimes I share it with someone like you..."
