So I heard about the CruFest thing that's going on, and I planned to go to the Auburn, Washington show because I have to see the guys every time they're near, then out of the blue they announced a show they're playing in Spokane, Washington, exactly where I live, a day before the Auburn show. My heart probably skipped a few beats in shock. Haha. What's cool is that they're playing in a small, 1,500 capacity venue here in Spokane with absolutely no assigned seating.
Tickets for it went on sale today and sold out in 10 minutes, the guy in front of me in line got the last tickets. But, I got a scalper coming to my house with tickets, so it's all good.
Anyone else excited to see Godsmack this summer?

I am going to CrueFest in August, and since I'm also a big fan of MC, I'm really looking forward to it, but I have to say I'm a bit jealous! Sounds like that will be on hell of a show! Enjoy!!

The Spokane show here sold out in THREE MINUTES! It was crazy! I'm excited for this show, I've only seen Godsmack in large arenas and an amphitheater, and i never necessarily got the best seats. This venue in Spokane is very small, and with no assigned seating or anything, I can finally live the dream and stand in the pit.
This venue is 1,500 capacity, one of my past bands and I even played this venue before, so it'll be cool to see the GS boys play in a venue that the local bands do.

I know! Below is a pic of my old band and I performing in this venue, it is a small place. I'm excited to be really close and personal with the guys in GS, it will be an awesome show!
This show is truly a dream come true!! I was beginning to think that I would never be able to see the Boyz in a small venue again, but.....SURPRISE!!...I get to!!\m/ \m/
I got a set of these hot little tickets in my hand as we speak with a room secured at the Montvale Hotel, which is right down the street from the venue. I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am to make this beautiful road trip up the Gorge to see the Boyz in Spokane!!! Maybe I can talk the hubby into bringing the 'VooDoo Ride' up for the show....
Looks like I'll be ridin' the rail once again on July 26th!!!!
Nice shots of you and your band, Rayfire!!

You guys are going to have a BLAST!! Nothing, repeat nothing, is better than getting Smacked up close n personal!!!! It's great that Godsmack got big enough to be able to book large venues, but small venues will always be first in my rock n roll lovin heart.
The GS show a couple yrs ago, at TBPAC, was just about the perfect combination of small venue and variety of songs. Of course, it didn't hurt that I had seat 1, row 1! Still VERY fondly thinking of 1999-2000 as well and those small venues. The Hard Rock & House of Blues are still great!!

I agree 100%, VO!! And The Pearl at The Palms is still a great "in your face venue" as well. This is definitely going to be a summer of explicit remembrance!! O/H/H/E/L/L/F/U/C/K/I/N/Y/E/A/H/

It's a very nice venue though, I'm stoked to get smacked in that personal of a space. Hopefully i can catch the guys outside while they get on their buses as there is no gate, the load-in doors are right at the sidewalk and they'd have to park the buses on the street. Hah. :P
