I just love reading on guitar/bass magazine forums about what songs people play and what gear they use so i thought it might be a good one to post here.
I play bass in a band called "Rulers of tomorrow" and last year we played "Shine down" in our set, and i am currently pushing for "Whiskey hangover" to be added.
My bass is a Yamaha BB714 Billy Sheehan signature model and i use a Sansamp bass driver to get a tone similar to Robbie. I am also expecting delivery soon of a DOD bass grunge pedal.
Be interesting to see what Godsmack songs others play and what gear they use to get the Godsmack sound.

Well I don't play in a band, I'm more of a solo kind of guy. I've performed many GS songs at open mic events. But most of that was acoustic sets.

I have a Epiphone Les Paul Class quilt top guitar hooked up to my lovely VOX AD50VT amp. It has all the effects I need and then some.

As for drums....well I have a first act drum set. haha I know lame right? But it's great for practice. Oh yeah I also have the RockBand drum set as well. Which I rock out to Metallica a lot on them.

There may be more I can play that's not listed but that's pretty much it. And of course we are only talking Godsmack here.

well, i don't know for sure, but may be in January my band will take a part in a fest, and we gonna cover Vampires and Bad Religion.
