all board members can submit since this is going to be a big book.

It is so amazing what a cook's flair can do to lowly things like campbells cream of mushroom, frozen green beans... and dare I say it SPAM!

Well, I don't really know what to say.

I have been cooking for so long (strange coming from a kid my age) that I am to the point of doing whatever seems right.

My room mate bought 6 pounds of ground beef (yes, college) and I went and got some green pepper and red onion. I chopped those up into small pieces and threw them in while I browned the beef. We stored this all away to eat during the week.

The next night I made spaghetti (wow I spelled that right on the first try!) and in the water I put some cooking oil and salt. The sauce (which I did not make myself not having the time or resources at the point in my life) I used Ragu, Parmesan flavor, and put in some of the onion/pepper browned beef. (Normally I never put meat in pasta sauce, but we need some reasonable way to get protein!) I added some garlic salt, and pepper to all this and let it simmer for awhile while the noodles boiled. (I break the noodles in half before I throw them into the pot it makes it sooooooooooo much easier to eat, and I do love eating fast!)

It all worked very well in the end. Damn good stuff!

Ghost -- Sounds like you've got a recipe for college dorm spaghetti there!!! It's a perfectly good inclusion. Maybe write it up to look more like a recipe (or not....) and put it in!!!
