Bring your A-game or go home. And by home I mean anywhere but here. Self-titled is awesome.... full of energy.... and its certainly not that immature, generally. I'm specifically talking about Godsmack here, and hell they've matured so much so quick.. that's all i was trying to say. Self-titled was a classy debut, no doubt about that.

open skies are falling, tears are coming down, like a drop of rain falls to the ocean and comes back around... those lines always move me. they're lyrical genius. i dig the harder stuff too but i dig the bluesy stuff as well. the mark of true genius is constant change - ie; NOT being stagnant in the time frame that worked for you in the past. that is cowardice and shows no true talent or ability to grow. some talk stupid sh*t about bands cuz all their music sounds exactly the same then they talk sh*t cuz they change their sound up here and there. can't please everyone so you just grow and as you grow, your talent, music, painting, poetry, grows w/you. i love every single disc gs has put out and i'm grateful for the gift of their music they share w/the world. sully, robbie, tony and shannon have all evolved in their personal lives, as all of you will in time, and it's only natural for it to come through in their music. enjoy the ride kiddos and take it how ever you can get it and do it w/gratitude.

I fell in love with Godsmack from the self titled....and loved every album since. The hard stuff as well as the tribal and acustic is great. I once told my sister, Sully could sing the phonebook and find a way to rock it.... Maybe, if you actually read my post, instead of pointing out the 2 or 3 insults I made toward someone who clearly deserved it, you might've somewhat understood what I said. I'll say what I want, when I want.
