So Sully and Shannon has mentioned how they are going back to their old roots for their next album. I'm lovin' this idea. But you know how sometimes bands/artist say "oh next album will be the heaviest" but when the album is finally released it's not that heavy (but still good nevertheless). I really hope they go to the heavier side of music this time. I want something "in your face!" heavy. Something f*ckin' hard and Epic! Music that gets the blood flowing through your veins, making you rock hard.

Please try not to do anything with a cliche' vibe to it. But no matter what you guys put out, I know I'll be satisfied no matter what!

I really hope there are some songs like I Am, Changes, Straight Out Of Line, Trippin' etc.

I don't think there will ever be a better album than the first one. That was everyone's first time hearing GS, and they were fresh and new. Hopefully this new one will be hard and heavy, like I like em, but I think the firs will always be my favorite.

I am new Godsmack fan, started with the best of album, then the first album. The first album is absolutely incredible !! Its a rare album that has so many great songs, I cant get enough of it.

Come on man! Think about what you are saying! Moonbaby and Immune are alone enough the make that entire album legendary.

I love them all, they are all crunchy, and epic. They all bring a different spin to the sound that is Godsmack.

Awake is personally my favorite album. I believe it to be the most well written, well compiled, and well produced.

I have to agree GhOst; Awake is also my favorite and it is hard-edged and agressive. I hope their new CD is as hard as Awake or even harder.

I dont think that album is bad... just nowhere as good as their other albums.And yeah Moon Baby and Immune are the best tracks from self-titled and one of my faves from any record.. Not sure what i would think of it if it weren't for Immune and Moon Baby.

All the songs are great... but nothing special except for the ones mentioned above.

Everything since Awake has been special!

If the new CD is a combination of Awake and Faceless; it will surely kick *ss!

Wow! You might as well have just come right out and said you're an idiot. Weakest effort?? If that's so, then the rest of their work must be absolute trash, because that was their most creative album to date. Everything after has been recycled from that first album moron.
