So, my local station (which I love!) seems to have abandoned "Whiskey Hangover"! I heard it the first day, and maybe once again that week, and not once since then! I've requested it numerous times; with no luck.
However, last week when the new AIC song came out, I heard it every hour on the first day (quite annoying) and countless times since then...probably at least twice a day, and that's a "work-day", a 9-hour period.
What gives? Anyone else having this issue? They still play a ton of Smack, but no Hangover. And what a co-inky-dink...AIC is on right now (but it's "Man in the Box" not the new one).

I had the same problem when it first came out. I would request, they wouldnt play. Ive only heard it a couple of times (when I do listen to the radio) but the radio station here seems to think that VooDoo is their only song. I want a variety!!!
I havent even heard the new AIC. Wonder what the deal is with radio stations?

Sometimes the program directors at certain stations suck! The local college station back home went to hell after they changed formats and now play coldplay along side Met and GS. Most stations are Top 40 and will only play songs that actually chart, making it harder for new bands to get play unless they are on a decent sized label.

OK, Now I'm getting aggravated! I am still NOT hearing it here, and have asked numerous times...and they play Smack ALL THE TIME! Hell, earlier this week (or maybe last week), I received an unsolicated "shout-out" from one mid-morning/afternoon DJ...I'm here at work, doing my thing and and I hear something to the effect of "this is for Dawn ____, one of our listeners who always has us on at work", and he plays the acoustic VooDoo! I was totally taken by surprise...too cool...but why not Whiskey Hangover??
He did a double-shot on Tuesday, can't remember the first song, but I got so excited thinking they were going to give me WH...nope, they played Running Blind...which I love, and rarely hear on the radio, so that was great, but still....what's going on with WH???
There has to be a reason, I just don't know it...rest assured, I will get to the bottom of this!

Marley, you arent by yourself. Hell, you apparently are getting to hear more than I do!! I have only heard WH maybe 2 times on my 1 station here in Charlotte and I listen to them all day at work. If they play one of our boys sings, its VooDoo. Grr, makes me mad too.
