The music sounds similar, Sully's song sounds a bit more faster but listen to the piano solo in "Until Then" then listen to "Love Story" sounds similar eh?
Both versions are beautiful pieces of course, and you all know I like Sully's song more. I also hope none of you think any less of Sully after hearing both songs.
"Love Stroy" is by Richard Clayderman, not Beethoven. It does not sound like an influence, more like a piece of Clayderman's song incorporated into Sully's. But we don't know how it got there, so I would refrain from implying anything negative. It fits in perfectly, BTW.

Actually yes you are right, I just found out that it's by Richard Clayderman.
It definitely fits well, I wonder if Sully was listening to some good piano tunes one day as he was playing his piano and incorporated Clayderman's piece? Either way it works.
