Teh Beav be in a word that teh Drake has not uttered for over three years. You know that word. It starts with "L" and rhymes with the second syllable of "above." You don't want to admit it, which is f*cking with your perception of things (and may slightly perforate your self-image), and you're afraid to say it to him because it would make you vulnerable.
All this having been said, teh Drake be proud of teh Beav for being able to keep that which is kept in her pants to herself, even stopping that near-kiss. *insert applause here*

Other than the obvious gender barrier that usually completely blocks a 100% understanding of what you're going through, I stand by my diagnosis. Right now, you're going through denial, because that's the only way you think you can live with yourself, plus you don't want to "weaken" yourself by admitting it. But being honest with yourself is more important than denying any misperceived weakness. I've been down this road, and the sooner you accept it and try to do something about it, the sooner you'll get out of this funk and stop sabotaging crap that might be good for you.
Do my unexpected insights shock you enough that you won't notice if I indulge in some motor boating?

Matter of fact Drake....I feel about THAT like your quote says: ""There is something out there in the darkness, something terrifying, something that will not stop until it has taken its revenge... me.""

You can't make it go away. It is what it is, and if you royally f*ck it up one way or another, you're left with still being in that dreaded word AND being totally miserable. Not worth it. So just accept it, and let the happiness wash over you like warm pee in the gene pool of Life.

I don't understand what you're trying to say here. I think, for once, someone has taken Batman out of context.

Think of it this way. There's a quote from a band I like very much, and they are not like Godsmack in most ways, a celtic-rock band by the name of Carbon Leaf: "The wisest advice to me that I didn't teach was to lock up the heart, but keep the key within reach."

you need to call me missy. i can't have you denying yourself happiness RIGHT UNDER YOUR NOSE cuz all you've known all your life are clueless @ssholes. you deserve to be loved and treated well which rockstar has done. i'd kill for a rockstar like yours girlfriend!! as i always tell a dear friend - "get outta your own damn way and enjoy the ride!!"
wait!! i know what your problem is!! your creativity is stifled!! you MUST do a project or 2 to get your groove back!!! mhm. ......for stores and details read the fine print in the smack family projects thread. not subject to discounts and double coupons. not responsible for injury to brain or body. sign contract with your blood and give us 5 years of your life....
Sorry to say but the Dragon nailed it......you like the rockstar....you REALLY like the rockstar. I am struggling with the same thing in my world - for some reason I met this guy who just sailed right through all my defensive blocks and went straight for the juglar and I am totally unable to stop him!!! Don't get too far in your head about it - you will drive yourself crazy!!!!!
Good luck on your mission if you choose to accept.....
Well IMO (not that you asked) you got it bad for your boy. Knowing that (while frightening) is the biggest step. Now a truly tough Beav would simply take ownership of that and make what she wants happen. So go put on your Big Girl panties and rock that Rockstar's world. I know you can do it, YOU know you can do it and more importantly, we all know you deserve it!
