You know those halloween things you can buy that stick onto your doors or windows, zombies, witches, things like that..

Anyways, I get home from work today and look at my front door, hanging on the door is one of those things that feature a gigantic spider web which of course, have two giant fuzzy gigantic (yes, the giant & gigantic both necessary) spiders..

For those who don't know, I'm severely arachnophobic.. I could not even walk up to the door. Had to get my mom to open the door for me.

Don't feel lonely! We had baby spiders coming into my youngest's room through her light from the attic. Every day for a week, there would be a baby hanging, and she wouldn't get out of bed (she has a loft bed, and has to go by the light to get to the ladder). So, Mom (me, LOL) who also has issues with those dang things, had to go and find these litle specks and kill them. Doesn't help that this house, and the neighbor's, seems to be a local spider hangout.

I just had to kill a spider in the kitchen. I missed the first time, and that little f'er JUMPED AT ME!!!!!

I screamed and slammed the shoe down. I did not miss that time, LOL

Fxck, none of the ones here attack but just sit there on the wall, and then they get crushed.

Just wait till I post pics of my Halloween decorations. My theme this year is arachnaphobia. I have HUNDEREDS of spiders that will be in the house, on the house, and all over the yard.

The neighbor had a wolf spider in her hallway one time. It was HUGE and it chased her! She ended up using spray, because she wasn't getting close to it, LOL

unfortunetly spiders really like the shape of our house around the door, they just love to make their webs there. yuk. Ive been bit before I never want that experiance again

As with all things, and "Stairway to Heaven," there are two paths you can go by:

1) Work on losing or lessening your fear by reminding yourself that they are fake spiders and they cannot do anything to you. Give them names. Make fun of them. Take their power by demeaning them because they are truly powerless to fight back against you. (I had to get over a horrid fear of driving...fears always look smaller when you're looking back at its defeat.)

2) You can ask her to please take them down. Move them to a window where you don't have to touch the thing they're on, or move them to the outside walls where you don't have to see them very much and you don't have to get close to them.

That's my two cents.

Living spiders, however, die as soon as I can grind them into a greasy spot that used to be a spider.
