Hey people, It's me Kayla, i hacked mom's thing. She should really pick a new password, cuz she uses it for everything and it's really easy to guess. (i got it on the first try) So most of you know about her surgery, that was yesterday. She was fine afterwards, i talked to her and i imagine she talked to some of you, too. But today she wont be able to talk to any of us. she's being moved to on e of the best hospitals in Florida, Mayo clinic. Some time earlier today, a blood clot made it's way to her brian. and she had a sroke on the right side of her brian, which controlls the left side of her body. the left side of her body is now paralized. I'm not sure when she'll be home, or even if she'll be okay. But my mom's to stuborn to die, so pray for her.
I'll come on and tell you, the next time we hear from her doctors, how she's doing.

Thanks Kayla for hacking your mom's profile and updating us. Even though I haven't been around I remember about her surgery and kept her in my thoughts and I will definitely continue doing so.
No problem. seeing as i'm stuck here at my grandparents house. and Haley is with her friend and the boys at thier friend billy's house untill saturday. So no one will need the computer.
but we haven't heard anything since noon yet,

Oh, Kayla, I am so sorry this has happened...please let your mom know she has a lot of people pulling for you. And that goes for you, too...we're all "here" if you need to talk, vent, whatever.

Honey your mom is a very strong person. I'm sure she will pull through soon. Thank you for keeping us updated, I'm sure this is very hard for you. You have many supportive people here. You and your mom will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.
So my grandma told me we got a phone call from my mom's nurse at about 4pm and he said she was being put into the ambulance(?) to be transfored over to Mayo.
The boys are at their friend billys house and safe. And Haley is, well Haley. She's pissing my grandparents off, and me too. But she's at a church so, i don't think she could cause that much trouble.
The nurses at Mayo were supposed to call, but they haven't yet. Which isn't much of a surpirse, because it takes forever to get into a hospital in Florida, idk about where you guys are but it does here. since she's in critical condition i don't think it would have taken too long, but they should be calling any mintue.
I'm not too worried, becuase i know my mom better than some people and i know she isn't going anywhere for a long time. Plus she said she would never send me to my Dad's and i'm holding her to that promise.

I got an update from Haley, and she had told me that Kris is now under a medical induced coma. There's no telling right now what's going to happen from here or if her paralysis is going to be permanent seeing as how I have no idea how bad the stoke was when it hit her.
Kay, I already told Haley this but you girls, the boys and your mother will be on my mind until this situation is over. I care for Kris like a sister, you know that. She means a lot to me. It scares the hell out of me, and I know she's too strong and too stubborn to die. She's died once and was ale to come back from that full force. Let's just pray she's up for doing it again. Kay, I know things feel tough right now, I've never been through exactly what you're going through, but I know what it's like not to have a mom right by your side. I'm sorry I can't think of anything really inspiring to say, or really anything happy to say, but I know that mom will pull through this. she's pulled me out of so many ditches and so many ruts that I know she'll be able to pull herself out of the one she's in. I feel bad that I wasn't able to get on and wish her luck in the operation, and I feel sad that I can't be there to watch over her. if I could I'd be living in that hospital room until she's better, (even though I hate hospitals with a passion) but I can't, so you'll have to keep watch over her for me. If I could I'd be there in an instant, but at the moment I won't be able to drive for another month or so, if I can drive anytime soon I'll be sure to try my best to get down there to see you all. please tell her I love her, even if she might not be able to hear it, it still means something that it was said in her presence... sorry if I'm depressing. Love you all

they're gonna keep mom under for the next 5-7 days and if they can keep the swelling in her brain under controll then they'll take her off the meds. But there's always the chance of her wakeing up beofre that, too. which they kinda hope doesn't happen, cuz they have her skull opened. (to controll the swelling) Grandma and Grandpa were going to stay with her for the weekend but they're not anymore, i guess.
Here's something we can all laugh about, well anyone that knows what my dad is like. He's pretending to be worried about me. i couldn't help but start laughing when he called and said that.
i'll keep you updated when i can, but i have exams coming up and lots of studying to day.
