What does your Egyptian heiroglyphics say? Is it your name? I love Egyptian stuff. I have Bastet sitting right here on my desk. She is so beautiful.

I've Noticed that too Devra, and was wondering the same.......The new name I have of Nashwa is Egyptian for "A GOOD FEELING"..I looked it up in a baby naming book and their meanings..I also have a site with Egyptian stuff on it if your interested to see it...

the first part that is inside the cartouche is my name. the part that follows is suppose to say,
'given life,stability,wealth,prosperity,and health forever.' i love egyptian stuff also,it is like a part of my life that calls to me from a hidden place. i have a bastet also,as well as an isis. i want to find a thoth,but i haven't been that lucky in finding one.
i just recently had a necklace made at the scarby ren faire . it has an egyptian cat on one side and the ankh on the other side. i will take a picture of it later and show it to you here.

Thank you, the name I'm using I found it by typing in Egyptian names and their meanings,GOOGLE so something to that term and it brought up a baby naming book online..which gave me alot of names from different countries...

it will be cool to see what ya come up with..I was kinda going earth, air, fire, water, but I got the Air and water put together...IE Waves and clouds..lol

that just drives me nutty when i forget the name of a movie. lol

i'm thinking about putting an ankh,a scarab with wings,an egyptian cat and (like you) somehow putting the elements in there somewhere.
