Awww, thanks for asking, Peg!! We extended our trip by a few more days and didn't get home until late last night. We had a really great time in Vegas. We saw Creed Sunday night in the The Joint at HR and they totally rocked the house. The stage show was very impressive with lots of pyro, big shots of steam that flew like 30 feet in the air, sparkler showers that rained down and the most intense power. The bass was like no other and rumbled you to the core with huge vibration surges. It was unreal and like nothing I have ever experienced. The band was in top form and sounded exceptionally good, playing all their hits with Scott being very humble and appreciative and giving props to his band mates and credit where it was due. I was great to see them back together and unified once again. LOVED IT!! I got some great pics that I will share with ya so you can see too. Monday, we saw the show "La Reve" at the Wynn and it was really magical and pretty, centered around a big pool of water with swimmers doing high dives extreme acrobats. I even got a flower from one of the buff guys in the show and they only gave out six of them total! Then we flew into Salt Lake City for a couple days and seen Clutch at The Depot,(Miley Cyrus was next door at the E Center so there were little girls all dressed up everywhere and so excited to see her)and spent the next day finally meeting and hooking up with a business contact that we have been doing business with for the last couple years. He showed us around the city and took us to a really nice dinner. It was nice to finally meet him after all this time of doing business together on the phone and shipping boat parts back and forth to each other. Gerry and I drove out and seen the "Great Salt Lake" even though there wasn't much to see rotfl: but the huge Mormon temple was pretty impressive in it's own right when we drove by it. Then we flew back to Vegas to attend the Tattoo Convention and had already purchased tickets to see AC/DC again, but they postponed their show at the MGM Grand so that didn't pan out like we planned so we decided to spend the evening getting tattooed by an artist that we had found the day before and really liked his work. I got my Sistah tat, tattooed on my back and Gerry got a portrait of my high school graduation picture tattooed on his forearm. He even won 3rd place for best tattoo of the day in the competition!! Very Cool!! It's so strange to see myself tattooed on his arm...guess after 30 years, I really am his queen. He said he is so happy with it and is very proud to wear me on his arm. I am honored, but also kinda blown away cuz that is one huge commitment right there...damn!! No sign of Sully or Tommy Lee there, but we did meet Mario and Chuck Zito (the Street Justice guy) and even seen Sylvester Stallone a few times throughout the day on Saturday, roaming around the convention with his entourage. I'll post some pics as soon as I can find some time to upload them to photobucket so I can share them with ya.
Oh yeah, I won 300 bucks on a "Wheel of Fortune" slot machine at the airport just before we were boarding to come home. Gotta give some thanks to Vegas for paying for my new tattoo!!

Gerry's just gettin' started~ And all finished. We just got together 4 month before this pic was taken in 1979 when I was 17. I'll post again when it heals with the original pic next to his arm~ Me with my Sistah tat in progress~ And finished~ Here is a closer look - he made it look like the sun has been branded down into my back~ He also re-worked my rose on my right shoulder that I got when I was 18 and added a new rose on my left shoulder for symmetry.

Go Farrah!!! How beautiful you are and the tat is. So awesome of Gerry to get that for a new tattoo. It almost made D cry - LOL!
Love your sistah tat also. I'm getting more and more jealous about that. If only my GS sun wasn't filled in.
Wow, what a weekend you guys had! Sounds like a blast. Glad to hear Creed is better than ever. Can't wait to see your pics. SLC then back to Vegas again - what jetsetters! Wonder what happened with ACDC. At least you guys already got to see them this year. I haven't heard of that show at the Wynn. It must be new.
I love Vegas. I can't wait to go back!!!!
I always loved playing that Wheel of Fortune also. Can't say as I wond $300, but it was still fun.
Glad to hear about your trip, thanks for sharing, really!

Funny, VooDee, you saw Sylvester Stallone and I had the...well I can't say it was pleasure, of hearing his brother Frank play at the Joint, Hard Rock Vegas. Now, I know what you are thinking, but I DIDN'T buy tickets. I was actually in Vegas partly on business and that was our great entertainment for the night. Pffft. I walked out half way thru. What a dis service to that great venue.
Other than that, Vegas was great. Went to the Venecian, Madame T (the wax museum), Bellagio, Cesars. The highlight of my trip was seeing Criss Angel Believe at the Luxor. What a beautiful theatre and a kick a@@ show. The show was funny, scary, sexy...I wish it would have went on another 2 hours.
Oh, and p.s. After the show was hanging at Liquidity and some young buck tried his moves...lol. I had to shut him down really quick because I AM married. But aside from that, I would have probably hurt the boy..lol.
What happens in Vegas... . I can't wait to go again.

Deb - you went to Believe without me??? Man, guess you gotta grab the opportunity when the door opens, right. Got to mix business and pleasure - that always makes for a cheaper trip. Good for you. Glad you had fun and got to see Chris' show. Thanks for sharing. Cute pic of you and Abe BTW.

Oh Deb, I'm so glad you got to see the Believe show!! I seen it back in January and really loved the whole vibe of it as well and the theatre is absolutely gorgeous. Madame T's wax museum at the Venetian is a lot of fun to see too - very cute pic of you and Mr. Lincoln sittin' there. We stayed at the Luxor this time but never got a chance to go into Chris' new night club, Liquidity. And, I hear he actually shows up in there quite often too. Hahaha, that's funny..I call 'em young bucks too and had one all up on me in the casino there...Down boy, down!!
Kat- thanks for moving the pics for me and shootin' John an email. I'm very proud of our tats too!!
