john designed this tat just for the smack sistahs! it's loosely based on the celtic symbol for sisterhood w/the gs sun around it. it's meant to symbolize all sister friends in your life - past, present and future - and all the things we learn from each other. i never wanted a band tat but ya'll have made such a positive difference in my life, i wanted to show my appreciation. all sistahs are welcome to use his design. thank you. toni was a trooper!!;

Maybe have to make it a tad bit smaller and put it on my leg like some of the other ladies.Although I do have tatts on both ankles already. I take pride in my smackness, though!!!

That's the EXACT same reason why I didn't get this tat. Already have a sun on the back of my neck. Still want it!
I had the same problem. I already have the sun on my ankle. Two would look crazy. If the center part could be put in white on top of the blk maybe....??

I love mine. I was glad I decided to get it done. I had gone with my neighbor when she had one of her tats done, and she had a bad reaction, almost went into shock. So, of course, I worked myself up. But, it didn't hurt that bad. More of the sunburn type pain. Poor Kat...she got it lower than me, so that didn't help, LOL I felt bad for laughing, but some of the faces were funny. And Drew didn't help! He was cracking jokes the whole time!! I agree, birdie.If I get another, and I do have 1 more planned, I would much rather Drew do it. I had a blast!
