Hey Witchy, what's goin on?
I've been through your neck of the woods many times...I used to drive a delivery truck and my area covered from Redlands to Indio and sometimes clear out to Mecca and Thermal.

Funny that heh? Cause I am from your neck of the woods. Wouldn't ever move back that way, cause I lived on the corner of crack and gang, and as I understand the pit of Cali, it hasn't changed. (LOL) But I come back that way often enough to visit family. And for anyone to come here to Hades voluntarily? HAHAHAHA I knew someone who drove a Coca-Cola truck. No air conditioning. He was new to the area. He didn't like it when I laughed. He didn't last either.

I'm about a half hour west of San Bernardino, but my last route before I left that job covered from Fontana to Highland, so I know what you mean. quote: Originally posted by WitchyWomanM: And for anyone to come here to Hades voluntarily? Yeah, not a fan of the heat. "But it's a dry heat!" I don't give a rats ass, 120 degrees is 120 degrees, dry or not! quote: Originally posted by WitchyWomanM: And to mention Indio, Mecca and Thermal....you wouldn't recognize it lately.
That was 2 or 3 years ago, so I might. My boss was lucky I'm bilingual...

You know, I have a wonderful friend who I met on these bb's (Addicted to Smack) who told me that Texas heat was dry. LMFAO Imagine my surprise when I got off the plane and was soaked with sweat before I got to baggage claim because it was so humid. That is what I tell people. My hubby says that, "Yeah but it's a dry heat" And I appropriately respond, "No honey, it's just f*cking HAWT!!!"

God no...there's so much humidity in TX that you could cut it with a knife. I visited Dallas once when I was maybe 5 or 6 and all I remember is how humid it was.

I am sooooooo going to send Addy over here to read this. LMAO She really believed her Texas heat wasn't so bad. I told her when she comes next month, I will have a bottle of lotion just for her cause it's so dry. Nice talking to ya Big C. Welcome over here to our little PG world. Hope you fit in nicely, and you stay for awhile.
